Discovery and Adstream partner in TVC Broadcast Technology Developments for Latin America

Discovery Latin America/US Hispanic receives content from 16
markets (including Asian and US markets) and currently has
approximately 560 agencies that distribute content. To date all
television commercials are received on tape at either local
Discovery offices, or directly to its playout centre in Miami. The
new streamlined workflow will also prove to be much more time
effective for the channel and its clients, by reducing the time
spent on data assessment.

Adstream currently delivers content to DLA/USH through the
Adstream Digital Delivery Platform, which has been working
effectively for the past 18 months. The full content delivery
programme will be rolled out to a number of Latin American
countries including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and
Mexico.
